Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President Location: Bromley Line of Business: Global Technology & Operations Here at our Bromley Office we are seeking a Java Application Support Level 3 to work within our EMEA Application Support Team. The successful candidate will be an Accounting Subject Matter Expert with skills and competencies to support critical GBS Application. You will be responsible for providing 24/7 support and subject matter expert guidance for all critical changes. This will be a permanent position and will require interactions with various stakeholders. As a Java Application Support level 3 your main responsibilities will involve: Support and maintenance of accounting applications in Global Banking systems and supported applications Liaising with business partners to help with process automation Ensuring adherence to Bank's Information Security and Risk Standards Responsible for co-ordination of teams including business operations, project teams, testing teams, vendors and business partners for application delivery Performance tuning of the java applications Perform trend analysis of the issues/problems on periodic basis to establish trends and report to the senior management As a Java Application Support level 3 your skills and qualifications will ideally include: Technical knowledge on Tomcat application server with Java Development (Springs / Hibernate) & good understanding on the Agile Framework IBM Websphere MQ Oracle SQL's Unix Shell scripting Good knowledge on Swift message formats Business / Functional knowledge of Liquidity products and Time deposits Knowledge on the reporting tools (Microstrategy) Good stakeholder expectation management skills About Bank of America Merrill Lynch Bank of America is one of the world's leading financial institutions, serving individual consumers, small- and middle-market businesses, large corporations and governments with a full range of financial and risk management products and services.
