Start date: 30th August 2017 for a duration of 6 months
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am until 5pm, 35 hours a week
Location: Farncombe Road, Worthing, BN11 2BW

As a Payments Administrator you will be responsible for processing, allocating and effectively following up all payments received onto the customer's accounts to the satisfaction of our client's Invoice Finance's clients and shareholders.

Key duties will include:

- Accurately coding payments to the correct client/customer using various enquiry screens
- Identify and deal with discrepancies/queries relating to items prior to batching of cheques.
- Liaising with customers and internal departments via inbound and outbound calls, to answer queries and complete unallocated payments. This will include taking corrective action to ensure future payments have the required information.
- Manually reconciling all payments that the computer system has been unable to automatically allocate.

This role will suit you if you can demonstrate the following:

- Confidence with inputting figures on to Excel spreadsheets set up to provide calculations
- High attention to detail
- A quality-driven approach to customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Great organisation and motivation
- A good level of general education, with a minimum of grade C at GCSE equivalent, in Mathematics and English
- Basic experience of accounting, banking or sales ledger is desirable but not required
