Purpose of the position
Euphorium currently operates six high street retail bakery and patisserie shops in central London, and a central production unit that produces breads, cakes, patisserie and vien products sold in store.
The purpose of this role, based at Head Office, is to support the Brand Manager with all graphic design work. Design projects can range from menu boards, promotional materials, launch events, window displays and signage.
Reporting to the Brand Manager, the role will also involve interaction with the operational and store teams, and may from time to time require visits to stores and offsite working.
Responsibilities and attributes
- Creative and proactive graphic designer supporting on all Euphorium design and marketing projects:
- POS material
- Advertising material
- Marketing materials
- Digital assets
- The Euphorium Brand Manager also supports one of the other brands owned by the group (Apostrophe), and the Graphic Designer should also expect to support on ad hoc Apostrophe projects, as well as potential head office projects (e.g. design of business cards, letterheads etc.).
- We are looking for someone with a love for typography and ability to be creative and proactive in generating new ideas.
- The ability to work well with and relate to colleagues in a diverse team is very important. The office has marketing, operations, finance, HR and other staff all together, so good people and communication skills are important.
Skills & Experience
Essential skills: Adobe CS Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
Useful skills: Video and web creation/editing experience.
Prior experience: At least 1 year graphic design work experience, with related design degree/diploma and certifications.
