Elite HR are delighted to be working with a well-respected national retailer as they recruit a Learning & Development Partner on a temporary basis to join their team based in London. Currently reorganising their business, unifying activities and standardising processes to become more responsive and efficient, this company is committed to delivering their strategy in a sustainable way and ensuring that they remain a great company to work for!

You will join a newly created L&D function of the business and you will be able to make a significant contribution to the transformational changes, by working on some development projects, including;

  • Co-designing and implementing learning to develop critical capabilities and build strong business competence
  • Design and implement an on-boarding programme, including simple and user-friendly toolkits
  • Lead on the learning to support key systems implementation projects, such as the introduction of SAPhr. Identifying the needs and designing material, putting plans in place and working with stakeholders to achieve the desired outcomes

To be brilliant in this role, you will have previous experience of working in a retail organisation and preferably with Supply Chain and Sourcing experience. You will be able to create learning plans to support new system roll outs, such as SAPhr. You will have a track record of excellent delivery across learning channels and you will be very comfortable working in a major change environment.

You must be used to working in a very fast paced business and have excellent communication and influencing skills as you will work closely with Teams and also senior stakeholders in the business. You will have knowledge of a global matrix led organisation.You must have business and commercial acumen, demonstrate interpersonal insight and be resilient.

A French speaker would be advantageous. You will also travel in this role, up to 30% of your working week.
