Purpose of your role

  • To be accountable for the operational delivery of early careers headcount demand (acquisition and rotations) across assigned business units or schemes
  • Working in partnership with business units to identify career paths and headcount demand for early careers candidates across graduate and apprentice programmes
  • Working in partnership with Early Careers Curriculum Managers on the ongoing support for early careers candidates within the organisation

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Stakeholder management and engagement, to ensure pioneering talent acquisition service across Fidelity based on detailed analysis of organisational gaps and talent requirements
  • Design and management of sourcing activity aligned to headcount demand
  • Delivery of exceptional top talent acquisition and insight to stakeholder groups through external market awareness and Talent Acquisition expertise in conjunction with a detailed appreciation of overall business strategy and operational knowledge
  • Driving continuous improvement and service innovation by designing, implementing and delivering transformational resourcing initiatives in support of top talent acquisition
  • Working with Head of HR and HR Generalists colleagues to deliver a holistic, professional and timely HR service to the business areas
  • Ownership of assessment and selection strategy
  • Working with relevant stakeholders to evaluate profiling & assessment practices and ensure that the appropriate tools are implemented and refreshed regularly
  • Supports the up-skilling business stakeholders with related resourcing knowledge/skills and expertise and tools to drive more relevant hiring decisions
  • Ownership of the supplier management framework and associated commercials for managing third party suppliers

Talent Development

  • Partnering with Early Careers Curriculum Managers in the ongoing support of scheme participants and the participation in the early careers learning curriculum
  • Partnering with Early Careers Curriculum Managers in the delivery of learning and development activities

Talent Acquisition Management Insights

  • On-going analysis and review of the external market place including competitor analysis and benchmarking to ensure Fidelity is well placed to be competitive in early careers Talent Acquisition
  • Use understanding of attrition, trends, business & people strategy and feedback to inform the third party providers/ other external stakeholders to adjust resourcing, attraction, assessment and selection strategies to ensure consistency of process and maximise effectiveness
  • Developing market leading initiatives and programmes to attract external talent.
  • Management of a first class candidate experience

Talent Stakeholder Management

  • Partner relevant business, HR and Talent stakeholders in the delivery of internal and external Talent solutions
  • Pioneer internal talent mobility and work closely with Learning & Talent teams
  • Project manage or work within key group-wide Resourcing projects

3rd Party Management

  • Provide full engagement in managing the third party providers as a key element of the overall resourcing solution

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Demonstrable experience in developing and delivering graduate schemes in support of organisational goals
  • Strong communication and partnering skills
  • Exceptional attraction management experience - ability to guide and shape attraction activities for early careers recruitment initiatives
  • Significant experience of designing and delivering Resourcing and/or Talent solutions in a relevant dynamic environment
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders on a daily basis with the aim of delivering talent acquisition best practice
  • An individual with experience of managing a Graduate Recruitment process
  • A proven ability to think strategically and succeed
  • The ability to influence at all levels with a motivational and inspiring approach
  • Knowledge gained in attracting and selecting high calibre early careers candidates (graduate and apprentice)
  • Understanding and experience of commercial environments where Talent acquisition and management play a key role in overall organisational effectiveness.
  • Strong operational and strategic knowledge of end-to-end 'best practice' recruitment
