My client is seeking a talented and flexible Privacy Program Coordinator for a 6 month FTC to assist in a range of reviews, programs, and initiatives in the areas of privacy and data protection. This is a contract position located in my clients London Bridge headquarters and reporting to the Chief Privacy Officer.

Privacy and security are central to everything. The Privacy & Compliance department works to develop practices and procedures that ensure the personal information of users is safe, secure, and used in accordance with their guidelines as well as compliant with applicable laws and regulations.

We are seeking highly motivated, well organised, project manager and privacy professional. In this role, you will assist in the development and execution of a comprehensive compliance strategy, assist with conducting privacy impact assessments, contribute to core documentation and compliance efforts, and help to review, enhance, and manage the day-to-day operation of the privacy program and compliance with global privacy and other regulatory frameworks.

  • Help to coordinate the global privacy program framework for the privacy department and to develop and manage internal controls relating to privacy and other regulatory / legal frameworks (GDPR, ePrivacy, CASL, CAN-SPAM, APPs, etc.)
  • Work on projects related to ongoing compliance with data protection and privacy laws, and related requirements
  • Manage tools for documenting and tracking compliance with my clients global legal obligations, including privacy impact assessments
  • Coordinate internal and external audits of our privacy systems and procedures
  • Assist in the development and deployment of training's that highlight legal obligations and best practices
  • Be flexible and willing to work on projects in other areas

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent project or program management experience
  • 3 or more years of experience in auditing, consulting, legal, or program management environments
  • Experience advancing multiple projects as a project manager
  • Experience prioritising and managing multiple projects with varying deadlines
  • Experience with project management practices, tools, and methodology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Privacy experience
  • Experience with emerging technologies and devices and knowledge of email marketing platforms
  • Privacy certification (CIPP or CIPM or similar)
