This company is one of the largest and most prevalent financial institutions which provide investment banking services, securities and investment management to a vast amount of clients. This company has a cemented global presence and are seeking a Quantitative Analyst for their MRM division in their London offices and are paying up to GBP80,000.
Your new role
In this role you will be responsible for quantifying Model Risk and managing derivatives to quantify associated risks. You will also be accountable for engaging with senior management across the business to advise and evaluate the potential risks related to large transactions. In the role you will also focus on the development of alternative models to assist in the management of risks within the businesses banking areas. .
What you'll need to succeed
For this position you will need to have gained a PhD in a quantitative based subject area, and you will need to be proficient in using either C++,Python, R or Matlab languages. The role requires you to have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, due to the regular engagement with senior stake holders within the business, where you will be explaining complex risk models and systems. Due to the nature of the role you will need to feel comfortable working in a fast paced environment and be able to work effectively to meet tight internal deadlines.
