The Internal Communications Co-ordinator will support the Internal Communications team in ensuring the smooth delivery of all aspects of the team's remit, including publishing and events. Reporting to the Global Head of Internal Communications.

Job Purpose

Working closely with the Internal Communications Specialist - Publishing, the Internal Communications Co-ordinator role comprises four main areas of responsibility which support the Firm's and the team's strategic priorities:

1) Writing and publishing
You will support the internal communications team in originating, writing and publishing content for the Clifford Chance intranet and other publications including the daily CC Today intranet news page, the quarterly World digital internal magazine and Partner Primer, snapshot information about the firm and its activities.

2) Intranet pages
You will proactively maintain the internal communication team's intranet pages (e.g. About the Firm; Corporate Responsibility; Vision & Strategy) and originate and maintain new intranet pages, including Business Services and Innovation

3) Facts & Figures
You will manage the information gathering for the Firm's twice-yearly Facts & Figures digital booklet for partners, working with business areas to collate information and thereafter the Visual Identity team to design and produce the finished digital booklet to schedule

4) Events
You will be support the delivery of internal events such as Global Open Forums, Executive Leadership Group video and audio conferences.

Other
As part of a small team, you will also join other team members in supporting firm-wide internal communication initiatives

Skills and Qualifications

Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail
Comfortable with digital content publishing (preferably SharePoint) and other office technology
Self-starter with initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to instil the trust, confidence and respect of senior management
Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels, including remotely in international offices, with a professional, confident manner
Client-focused, motivated, proactive, forward-thinking, organised and diplomatic
A strong team player, willing to go the extra mile for both the team's stakeholders and the team itself

Experience:

Degree educated with some relevant internal communications experience at a similar level. Professional Services industry background preferable

Demonstrable experience in writing, digital publishing and editing essential

Demonstrate planning skills for projects and event
