Java Developer - Core Java - Break into Banking - London Up to GBP70,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Java developer required for a Tier 2 Investment Bank located within London's financial district. My client has a global headcount of 600 people and are looking to increase their London headcount by an additional 50 people. If you are looking to break into the banking sector, my client is open to candidates from all industry backgrounds.

This is a great opportunity for a Core Java, Spring developer to gain and increase business exposure within the financial industry. With budget put aside for additional qualifications, my client offers great opportunity for developers to progress in different technologies to ensure they are more knowledgeable in the industry.

The successful candidate who joins this team will gain excellent exposure to these business areas as well as the opportunity to work in a technically challenging, delivery focused environment.

My client is willing to pay up to GBP70,000 for the right Java Developer, and the company operate a discretionary bonus scheme, akin to the levels found in the banking sector.

Essential Skills:
*Core Java
*Spring Boot and/or Spring MVC Frameworks to build RESTful web services
*Strong experience with JS Development
*Web front-end architecture
*Angular JS
*Experience with MS SQL Server
*Database knowledge including transactions, indexing and SQL
*Competent knowledge in real-time, low latency
Nice to have:
*UNIX experience
*Portfolio or public repository
*Previous experience in setting up integration environemt
*Ability to speak French (desired but not essential)
