Key Responsibilities

As part of the Recruitment team, the Specialist will deliver an effective and efficient resourcing service for the firm, including designing of resourcing campaigns, sourcing and selection of candidates, management of offers, client management and evaluation of the recruitment process.

Your remit will be to deliver a full end to end recruitment process across Business Services functions, with a particular emphasis on IT. This will naturally involve building excellent relationships with hiring managers and strong stakeholder management. You will work closely with the Team Leaders and Senior HR Managers and fellow Recruiters on projects, policies and operational needs.

Key responsibilities will be split into the following:

Process

Responsible for managing the end to end recruitment process for the relevant Business Services functions, mostly within Technology and IT, for an excellent service delivery.
Work in in collaboration with other recruitment specialists, to manage recruitment campaigns (often business critical and time critical) at a range of levels and a variety of specialisms across business services, mostly focused on IT recruitment.
Managing the candidate attraction process for vacancies via direct methods including direct headhunting, LinkedIn searches, social networking and other creative direct recruitment methods. Providing an exceptional standard of candidate management to promote the Firm in competitive candidate market places
Understand your key deliverables and metrics, to ensure that details of the process and outputs can be measured and reported on as necessary.
Respond to a range of queries and carry out more complex procedures.
Continually monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of the team's processes and suggest/implement improvements.
Maintain specialist knowledge by keeping up to date with developments in policy or regulatory changes.
Recruitment for other areas across Business Services and practice areas, as demand requires.

People

Work with the Team Leaders and Senior HR Managers to develop and manage strong relations with internal and external stakeholders to the advantage of the business and the HR department.
Influence at all levels to ensure the balance of best practice and the needs of the firm are met.
Deal with hiring managers and employees to resolve complex queries or carry out requests within scope of the role.
Provide hiring managers with professional direction and guidance enabling them to manage recruitment more effectively.
Manage 3rd party relationships and the Agency PSL.
Share information, advice and expert knowledge with other team members.
Coach hiring managers in best practice.
Engage with potential, passive and active candidates on a daily basis.
Interview alongside hiring managers regularly.

Strategy

Assist in developing and delivering the strategic aims and objectives of the recruitment team in accordance with the HR and firm strategy.
Take a holistic approach to reviewing processes regularly and where appropriate design and implement changes.
Drive forward a number of Recruitment Projects as allocated in tandem to BAU recruitment.
Liaise with external bodies, the Team Leaders and Senior HR Managers to keep abreast of market knowledge and to understand the impact of changes in policy or regulation.
Liaise with Business Services functions regarding future requirements and headcount plans to work proactively.

Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

You will have experience of hiring into IT and technology roles.
You will have proven experience of influencing and advising Senior IT Managers on recruitment.
You will have experience ideally gained within a professional services firm, or within an agency recruiting business services hires into professional services.
You will have had experience of sourcing candidates directly, running searches, market mapping and approaching potential candidates through social media and relevant job boards.
You will have had experience of interviewing candidates and administering assessments.
You will have had experience in using your judgement to provide solutions to complex problems.
Experience of recruiting IT professionals into professional and financial services would be desirable.
Experience of recruiting fee-earners would be an advantage.

Knowledge:

You will have sound knowledge of Business Services Recruitment having performed a similar role in a large commercial environment.
You will have a strong grasp of the IT recruitment market in professional or financial services, and trends in technology/innovation
You will have a good understanding of a professional services environment and how a partnership operates.

Skills:

You will be highly client focused with strong influencing, communication and team working skills.
You will be an accurate worker with high attention to detail and have the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
You will be proactive, consultative and take the lead in driving multiple recruitment activity forward.
