Corporate Finance Associate - Financial Modelling
This Corporate Finance Associate role will work closely with the rest of the team including the directors, as well as with senior management of our clients and will be expected to assist in the construction and development of new financial models, as well as in the maintenance of existing models.
Although financial modelling will be the primary focus initially, it is anticipated that there will be significant opportunities to become directly involved in corporate finance, fund raising and M&A transactions across a broad range of clients and transactions. In so doing, the successful applicant will take direct responsibility for delivering engagements. This will entail working to tight deadlines, adding value on complex, high profile and sensitive projects and be innovative in developing real-world solutions.
You will ideally be a qualified accountant with a strong academic record and have spent at least two years within a corporate finance, transaction services or financial modelling role within a major accounting, advisory or banking firm. You will have excellent excel skills and have experience of developing bespoke forecasting and operational models such as merger models, company valuation models and work with integrated P&L / balance sheet / cashflow models.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small, fast moving firm, where your contribution will be readily apparent. In time you will have the opportunity to work on cradle to grave M&A deals and be very well remunerated for it.
This Corporate Finance Analyst role is paying around GBP60K as a base salary (depending on experience) with up to a 100% discretionary performance based bonus.
