Senior Business Analyst, Great Blue Chip Company, Brighton Area, Up to GBP90,000 base + Up to 50% Bonus plus amazing benefits

The Role:

As a Senior Business Analyst you will have an important role and be required to carry out strategic analysis to understand the current and future 'blueprint' of the organisation, evaluating/recommending business change initiatives which enable the organisation to achieve its' goals and objectives. Leading business analysis teams and activities for complex projects, both business and IT, to drive financial growth, operational excellence and customer satisfaction. You will also be experienced in change and lead innovative use of IT tools to enhance outcomes.

Principal Accountabilities:

Identify transformation opportunities through stakeholder relationships, shaping ideas, creating and promoting solutions and gaining senior management buy-in.

Works with the most senior client/user management to define strategies, drawing up requirements specifications, conducting feasibility studies, producing high level and detailed business models and implementing solutions, which will have a measurable impact on the profitability and effectiveness of the organisation.

Critically reviews and evaluates proposals and solutions to initiate change activity, identifying fit with the agreed divisional Roadmap, align with business requirements making recommendations to senior managers ensuring they are fully aware of key risks and assumptions, and marrying up technical limitations with operational realities.

Delivers effective communication to all interested parties, including stakeholders and Divisional Directors, to support effective decision-making and manage the smooth and integral delivery of programmes.

Defines, develops & delivers processes & systems to ensure a consistent and good level of service that means customer expectations are met and consistent with what we have communicated .

Takes the lead in all matters with regard to the management of employees, ensuring that management discretion is used in a consistent manner and that the area follows the Group's policies and procedures including the Partnership Agreement to maximise business performance.

Understands the principles of Business Transformation and is able to translate these principles into business/people change activities and project outcomes

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:


- Ideally, degree level qualification, or equivalent.

- Ideally, IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional??? (CBAP??) or BSC ISEB Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis


- At least 5 years of business analysis work experience
- A background in Pensions, Annuities, Asset & Liability Management and / or Investments and understanding of the products, regulations and the UK Pensions market would be highly advantageous.
- Outstanding business analysis experience required and proven delivery track record of change / transformation.
- Adaptable and creative approach to business analysis


- Excellent communications, interpersonal and presentation skills in order to influence internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to self-manage and work in a dynamic environment
- Strong collaboration skills including working with Project Managers and Test Managers / Analysts.
- The ability to manage and benefit from virtual meetings, with limited reliance on face-to-face meetings
- The willingness to embrace new technologies and influence other parts of the business to adopt
- A relentless drive towards paperless working, wherever possible
