Location: Near M25 J9, Surrey

Salary: £15,000 - £22,000 per annum

Job Type: Full Time, 1 year internship

Job Role:

Our Client is seeking a bright, enthusiastic, imaginative and creative person to assist their marketing department in developing new ways to communicate with and generate conversations among potential customers.

They are a UK innovator of orthopaedic medical devices. They have succeeded in competition with large multinational medical device companies by leading the way with new and innovative solutions for their products. Their small product portfolio is currently among best in industry according to national data sources, but surpassing others with demonstration of real and tangible benefits for patients. To get the message out, they are focussing on equally innovative ways to interact with the market.

The purpose of this role is to develop, implement and assist in the management of a creative communications strategy appropriate for all customers.

This is an ideal position for a recent graduate or someone seeking to advance quickly in their career. This role is a step-up from task or study led work to a full research, develop and manage scenario over the course of a year with ample scope to develop skills in the marketing communications arena.

Our client's goal is to work smarter and do things differently to others with well-founded and intelligent solutions. The candidate will be a central player in their small team, defining solutions and achieving their shared goals. Involving direct contact with a customer and patient community, this role will also require the candidate to develop a strong understanding of all relevant compliance regulations.

All outputs will be measured for effectiveness using appropriately defined metrics thereby providing real feedback and opportunity to learn with your own satisfaction of successfully generating positive engagement with a community of potential customers.

The appropriate candidate will be able to demonstrate suitable education, learning and practice related to media, culture and society with competency in: key research methods; quantitative methods; digital, online and print media. An affinity with healthcare-patient environment would be beneficial.

The successful candidate will be:

  • familiar with a range of media channels and digital technologies
  • proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint), web programming/editing, channel analytics, current social media platforms, survey methods/platforms, graphics software such as Photoshop or Illustrator
