Enterprise Ireland is a government organisation responsible for the development and growth of Irish companies in world markets.  It works in partnership with Irish companies to help them grow and ultimately this supports sustainable economic growth, regional development and job creation.  It has a network of 32 international offices and this key position is in their construction products and services division.  The UK is the largest export market for Enterprise Ireland and post Brexit it is expected to continue as such.  The UK head office is in London but the role will require regular travel across the UK and Ireland.

The focus of the role is supporting Irish companies from the construction sector across the emerging and growing UK activity in the development of utility, energy, transport and associated infrastructure programs. You will work as a core member of a dynamic team, consulting and advising Irish companies on their strategy for development and growth in the UK and ensuring that they grow their market share through more proactive and successful business winning strategies.

Through an established network, you will also promote to senior and international audiences on the strengths and capabilities of the Irish construction sector.  Importantly the role will involve the design, management and implementation of sales and marketing-led programs to assist in the achievement of key objectives.

The role will entail building strong relationships with UK companies and channel partners, identifying opportunities through market intelligence and research, introducing market advisers and coaches, developing your networks and working with your Irish based colleagues in order to build robust and scalable business plans.

This diverse role requires a high calibre individual with a broad understanding and solid proven experience in the construction/construction supply chain sector with experience in infrastructure, transport, energy or utilities all being advantageous. Graduate qualified, ideally with an MBA, you will have built an impressive track record within one or more of the construction industry majors, tier 1 or tier 2 contractors. Your functional experience will include sales, business development and marketing and importantly you will have excellent communications, analysis, networking and commercial skills.

This is an excellent opportunity to build your career and personal network within the sector and an excellent time also to be joining Enterprise Ireland which is committed to employee fulfilment and personal development.
