About the role

Purpose of role:

To act positively as a role model representing the public face of business applications and change in the business
To assist with the design and creation of well documented repeatable plans and courses that can be delivered both personally and by other team members globally using blended learning methodology
To maintain and promote a publically available course schedule and portfolio on both the intranet and LMS
Consistently deliver high quality timely services with a focus on; responsiveness to business needs, satisfaction ratings and improving efficient working practices
Where necessary capture, monitor and report on course attendance
Constantly develop specialised skills and technology behaviours in staff that enable them to produce work efficiently and cost effectively

Key responsibilities:

Deliver business as usual training using a variety of delivery methods including 1 to 1 sessions, classroom training, webinars and videoconferences
Deliver firmwide project training as required including at short notice in conjunction with the project training tea
Provide training support via Skype for business
Create and run short monthly "lunch and learn" or "breakfast" sessions on key topics
Author and maintain intranet materials that run in parallel with subsisting course materials and manuals
Global remote delivery of training and travel to other offices nationally and internationally as required, sometimes at short notice
Assisting with global project roll-outs
1:1 and group training, at desk, classroom and on-line training in both the UK and internationally
Regular induction training for new joiners ensuring appropriate and current content in a logical delivery order and format
Working on design and delivery with a future eLearning resource
Development of relationships with key individuals in practice groups, Business Services key contacts and super users in the UK and globally
Ensure best practice guidance is applied consistently across all sites - proactively ensuring familiarity with what this is
Feedback on extensive business contact on change management issues around BAU and projects / roll outs

About you

Qualifications, Experience and Technical Competence

Teaching or training experience working in legal/partnership environment
Experience with e-learning and learning management solutions desirable
Educated to degree level or equivalent Teaching/training qualifications desirable (B.Ed, Adult Education Teachers Certificate, PGCE, IITT accreditation)
