We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our Merchandising team as a Merchandising Administration Assistant, working on the Card department. This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent attention to detail, and strong numerical and excel skills, to develop their career within Paperchase.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

- supporting Merchandisers in ensuring that available stock levels are always maintained at a level to meet sales requirements
- actioning authorised allocation adjustments (and making recommendations) in line with the theme calendar, to include events, seasonal trends, etc
- supporting Merchandisers in planning opening stock packages for new and refitted stores, ensuring the effective and timely allocation of all stock
- proactively monitoring new store stock levels and working with colleagues (merchandising and retail) to formulate recommendations for adjustments and reallocations as appropriate
- proactively acquiring and demonstrating a good understanding of all product areas within the business
- liaising with suppliers and proactively tracking all purchase order information, ensuring any changes or anticipated problems are highlighted in a timely manner
- effectively monitoring critical path dates and work closely with colleagues and suppliers to ensure products are managed in line with these
- providing product information and stock allocations to the eCommerce team as required

WHO YOU'LL BE:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

- a degree, or equivalent qualification, in a relevant subject (business studies, economics, etc)
- exceptional levels of numeracy with a genuine interest in and understanding of numerical data, statistical analysis, etc
- close attention to detail with the ability to manage a demanding workload while never compromising accuracy
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- the ability to build close and collaborative relationships with all colleagues
- Intermediate Excel skills would be a distinct advantage
