The Role
This unique opportunity will see you:
• Taking on a leading SEO position within a fast growth full service digital agency
• Responsible for the growth of SEO as a service within the agency
• Being proactive and taking the initiative to identify areas for improvement in day to day account management
• Play a key part of strategy and tactical elements of various client campaign - showing urgency and proactivity in growing organic search performance
• Representing the agency at industry events

The role will be based in Leatherhead, Surrey and is a 15 minute walk to the train station as well as being very close to Jct 9 on the M25. The 20 or so people at the office generate an environment that is buzzing and exciting yet friendly and open

Key Duties and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for all aspects of search engine optimisation, including management of SEO client accounts. This includes but is not limited to:
• Creating and delivering organic search strategies
• Ensuring all websites have been technically optimised.
• This will come in the form of technical audits /consultancy
• Delivering competitor insights focusing on/off-page strategies
• Setting KPIs that are in line with the clients' business objectives
• Working directly with either client's internal Web development or external agency team to coordinate design and code needs with best practice SEO
• Staying up to date on the latest industry trends, best practices, and changes
• Tracking, interpreting, and communicating analytics and reporting
• Mentoring junior level Account Executives
• Managing the operational elements of Content Marketing

Research and Outreach
Under direction you will research, source and manage relationships with websites & their publishers that can assist us in our marketing goals. Identifying influential blogs/sites and social media accounts that would be worth targeting to help promote ourselves and our clients. You will work with colleagues in our India office to ensure the research and outreach process meets the needs of your customers.

Client Management
You will work towards managing your own small portfolio of clients over time. An exceptional approach to communication both written and over the phone is essential for this. You will also be responsible for face to face meetings with key clients on a regular basis.

Social Media Management
After training, you will assist in managing the social media accounts with the goal of growing followers and engaging with them.

Content production
Assisting in producing content to be published internally and externally. Learning how to optimize article content & structure in different scenarios.

Creating regular reports outlining monthly activities and progress against objectives to be sent to clients.

Competitor analysis
Identifying what our clients business competitors are doing differently on-line and suggesting ways of improving their strategy based on this information.

This role requires someone who is highly articulate, ambitious, a creative thinker and eager to learn about digital marketing.

Experience - Candidates would be expected to have the following skills
• Good Microsoft Office: Competent with Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
• Social Media knowledge
• Online experience/knowledge
