NEW SENIOR AUDIT MANAGER REQUIRED BY LEADING FTSE 100 UK COMPANY

Are you an experienced internal audit professional seeking a new opportunity and interested in working for one of the UK's most prestigious financial services companies?

Our client is one of the UK's leading organisations with an excellent reputation and a brand leader in the financial services industry. They are currently looking to recruit two Senior Audit Managers who will report directly to the Head of Audit one based in Hove & the other in Central London.

With a vision to be a recognised leading edge global audit team applicants will be required to execute a programme of Internal Audit work and ensure the objectives of all assignments are achieved and that all audit work complies with audit methodology and quality standards. You will be part of a highly professional and motivated team committed to fulfilling its role in supporting the Group Audit Committee and Executive Management in the protection of assets reputation and sustainability of this highly prestigious organisation. A summary of the key areas of responsibility are summarised below:-

Execute risk based audit plans

Provide a focus on audit activity on key areas of most significant business risk

Manage own and assigned audit resources

Monitor quality of audit files

Deliver audits on time and on budget

Present audit results to executive management

Agree viable business actions to address areas of risk

Improve overall strength of control framework

Manage key internal & external stakeholder relationships

Keep up to date with regulatory changes and their impact on the business and audit functions

Develop, coach and manage the audit team

If you have previous senior level experience in conducting audit work in compliance with quality standards ideally within the financial services sector and specifically in risk & within the financial services sector (either in the industry or specialising within practice) then our client would be very keen to hear from you. You are likely to hold a professional qualification but this is not essential & seeking a role where you can genuinely progress and enjoy the benefits of a superb working environment and salary/benefits package.
