The Role (Junior 1st Line Support Engineer)

You will join our business in an entry-level role, where we will establish your base of IT skills and ensure you are equipped to deliver IT support to our diverse client base across all sectors providing 1st Line Support via phone, email and remote access.

You will have the opportunity to grow your IT skills across:

Active Directories Permissions, Passwords and Account Management

- MS Office Versions 2007 - 2016
- Windows Operating Systems Windows 7 through to 10
- Network Support, Printer Support and Telephony/Telecoms Support
- Antivirus Support
- Backup Support

About You

- Ideally you will have some level of education around an IT subject, whether an A-Level or BTEC and a true commitment to pursue a career in IT, starting off in an IT support role
- If you have worked within a customer service environment in the past that would be an advantage as you will have regular and constant contact with our clients requiring clear and concise communication skills combined with a commitment to provide outstanding service
- You will have a natural flair for IT and a logical approach to problem solving enjoying the challenge of understanding an IT issue and finding a resolution
- If you would be interested in undertaking an IT Apprenticeship, we would be happy to consider your application.
- As much as your technical skills count, your ability to work unsupervised & under pressure are important along with your analytical, numerical, literacy and prioritisation skills.
