The Associate Director, with limited oversight from the Senior Director, Global Marketing & Events, supports Solutions Marketing for one or more line(s) of business within Moody's Analytics. They work as part of a Campaign Team of up to 7 people which produces marketing content and programs that support their line(s) of business. In addition, they are individually responsible for knowing the market, and producing buyer personas and buying process documentation, and mapping marketing content to the documented buying process.

•With oversight from Senior Management, leads Solutions Marketing for one or more LOB(s) and is responsible for marketing all solutions owned by that those organizations.

• Collaborate with stakeholders within assigned LOB(s), Sales and Marketing to develop global solution marketing strategy and plan for solutions owned that clearly states:
o Sales and Vertical objectives for each assigned solution
o Learning's from market research and competitive analysis that informed the strategy
o Product releases/features/functionality which will be a focus of the strategy
o Target market and segments
o Product positioning in each target market/segment
o Compelling messaging to be used for each target market/segment
o Marketing, Public Relations and Events budget and resources needed to execute the strategy
o Results expected, and how those contribute to meeting the Sales and Vertical objectives
• Develop and keep up-to-date client, prospect and employee-facing content needed to deliver global solution marketing plan:
o Advertising
o Collateral
o White papers
o Articles
o Emails
o MADC
o Social media
o Presentation decks
• Manage the industry awards and relations process to achieve MA objectives for quantity and type of awards and coverage, working with colleagues to ensure that each solution receives equal coverage and exposure
• Manage Solutions Marketing's comprehensive planning process to ensure alignment with company expectations, team contributions and up to date plan status
• Improve the coherence, clarity and consistency of our messaging by promoting a better understanding of our offerings through a "one Moody's Analytics" voice approach/filter
• Produce messaging that addresses our clients' highest and most complex business challenges.
• Develop thought leadership that expands company's opportunities and supports a complex sales process; maximize the impact of thought leadership content by incorporating it into key marketing campaigns
• Oversee execution of solution marketing strategy and plan by Marketing, Public Relations and Events teams, ensuring it represents full solutions and "One Moody's"
• Empower stakeholders to meet or exceed their objectives with regard to each assigned solution by delivering the training and tools they need for each release and between releases
• Prioritize stakeholder requests for marketing support of the assigned solutions, and, where appropriate, incorporate into solution marketing strategy and plan

• Solid industry expertise • Solid product marketing experience, ideally marketing complex enterprise software, financial services, analytics or training • Proven ability to develop and implement marketing strategies • Proven ability to lead marketing teams to accomplish vision • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering each on time and on budget • Track record of taking initiative and driving projects through to completion in a complex organization • Superb people skills with a proven track record of success interacting with colleagues in cross-functional teams • Independent and creative thinker who can bring new ideas and perspectives to existing products • Results-oriented and customer-oriented mind-set • Bachelor's degree with strong academic record required; Master's degree preferred
