The Nursing and Midwifery Council regulates nurses and midwives in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland setting standards of education, training, conduct and performance so that nurses and midwives can deliver high quality healthcare throughout their careers.

The International Registration team is responsible for assessing applications from nurses and midwives who have trained outside of the UK but who wish to practice here. You will be responsible for reviewing nurses and midwives applications, which includes analysing transcripts, employment history and identity documents then triangulating this information to rule out possible fraudulent applications. This role sits within a busy team managing a high volume of applications and associated queries from our customers.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience of working in a Customer Focussed Environment.
  • Experience of holding casework (Ideal but not essential)
  • Ability to prioritise workload, and work to conflicting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills both in writing and verbally
  • Highly Organised
  • Team Focused
