1. To understand your customer base and liaise regularly with the external account manager regarding customer requirements.
2 To manage enquiries from initial contact to invoice to customer by identifying the products or materials required by the customer, offering alternatives if necessary to profitably maximize the sale of goods.
3. To exceed personal sales target through maintaining control of discount/margin on existing customer ledger.
4. To identify new customers by regularly making proactive sales calls. During these outgoing calls you will capture and convert any sales opportunities whilst developing your relation with the new customer.
5. Negotiating and building relationships with key suppliers and their representatives.
