The bank is in the implementation phase of its project to comply with the MiFID2. The MIFID II Project Manager/Business Analyst will work in the projects team which has responsibility for overall delivery of the programme including the co-ordination of the Legal/Compliance workstreams and the requirements, specification and delivery of the Technology and Operations workstreams.

Description

MIFID II Project Manager/Business Analyst project deliverables include:

* Business Analysis support to interpret MiFID2 regulation for Business, IT and Operations project members

* Management of the Technology and Operations workstreams, including: Research Unbundling, Transparency (Pre and Post Trade), Best Execution Reporting, Transaction Reporting, Client Reporting and Confirmations, Clock Sync

* Definition and maintenance of the programme plan

* Regular status updates

* Project budget tracking

The project requires a Business Analyst/Project Manager to join the team to implement the deliverables alongside the existing project team.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities are:

* Ownership and delivery of analysis to help define the MiFID2 requirements/project tasks

* Coordination of resources to elicit requirements from all impacted departments (Legal & Compliance, Front Office, Technology, Operations)

* Support the PMO with project management tasks

Profile

MIFID II Project Manager/Business Analyst Experience

* Strong experience working in Investment Banking industry sector.

* Strong Change Management experience.

Knowledge / Skills

* Prior experience of MiFID2 and in particular Research Unbundling, Transparency (Pre and Post Trade), Best Execution Reporting, Transaction Reporting, Client Reporting and Confirmations, Clock Sync workstreams within Financial Services

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Enthusiastic and proactive approach with good attention to detail.

* Ability to shape ideas and proposals and lead groups to a decision.

* Ability to deal with colleagues across multiple functions and across the range of corporate levels.

* Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.

* Understanding of the industry's regulatory landscape.

* Ability to work independently and assume responsibility for project deliverables.

Job Offer

GBP500 - GBP700 per day
