We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our award winning financial services business.

Our online platform used by Financial Advisers is ever evolving which means your role as a Business Analyst will have exposure to a variety of updates and changes. This role is unique in the market in that you will have full ownership of projects from beginning to end while also working alongside and with the support of a team.

The main duties of the role are to work alongside the team and company to analyse the Transact business and liaise with the software development team in Melbourne to devise system enhancements and develop system functionality.

Your key areas of responsibility will include:

Business Analysis

- Assist in the analysis of business requirements, including gap analysis of changes required to processes, procedures and systems.
- Communicate requirements whilst adopting an intuitive approach to resolving problems.
- Post implementation reviews including benefit realisation.
- Work within Transacts flexible change environment.

Consultation

- To consult extensively with business areas to assist in identifying and documenting business needs, solving problems, gathering requirements, identifying scope, usage and security requirements.
- To consult and co-ordinate with the software developers to develop functionality and enhancements to the Transact system.
- To be proactive in disseminating information for users on new versions of the software and other developments as appropriate.

This role is ideal for candidates with previous experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services industry with a good understanding of investments and life products. You will have a good understanding of and experience in change management and system requirements gathering. A Business Analyst qualification such as the BCS Diploma is also desirable however we do also support completion of professional qualifications.

This role will have the opportunity to work on regulatory change projects within the business and as such we are keen to hear from candidates who have regulatory business analysis experience.

Within the role you will have the opportunity to build on your experience managing projects from start to finish and as such you will need to be able to work under pressure, manage your own workload and work to quick turnaround times.
