We are hiring for Scheme Events Technical Pension Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with exceptional administration and service skills and experience. You will be working with clients on a day to day basis, assisting and supporting them with highly confidential and potentially complex queries regarding their pension administration. As a Pension Administrator you will be responsible for; Assessment of complex technical pension and calculation tasks and provide specialist expertise to team members and Portfolio 1 admin teams to deliver bulk admin tasks within agreed timescales and service level agreements To deliver bulk pensions administration tasks such as Scheme Renewals, Scheme Benefit Statements, pensions Savings Statements, Pension Increases, Valuations and other adhoc bulk admin tasks for Portfolio1 and 2 schemes as allocated within agreed timescales and client service level agreements Collate and analyse data to produce and deliver solutions for Portfolio 1 admin teams within pre agreed timescales. Following standard processes for all bulk admin tasks ensuring end result is compliant with scheme rules, industry regulations, and pension’s legislation. Contributing to the design of continually improving processes, in particular the centralisation of bulk scheme event and ad hoc bulk admin work. Building relationships with internal and external customers. Act as an overflow capability for other departments for bulk admin work as directed by Scheme Events Team Leader, and as the Scheme Event cycle allows and where appropriate transferable skills apply Assist with Quality Team initiatives (not solely related to Scheme Events) as directed by Scheme Events Team Leader, as the Scheme Event cycle allows, and where appropriate transferable skills apply Working closely with clients, internal teams (such as Equiniti Claybrook, Pensions Technical support, Service Delivery Managers etc.) and service providers As the successful candidate you will possess; Previous experience in pensions administration, specifically benefit statement production, scheme renewals and pension increase processes (ideal but not essential) Advanced MS Excel and MS Access skills including VBA automation Experience of translating scheme rules, industry regulations and pensions legislation into working processes including the creation of compliant policies and procedures (ideal but not essential) Pensions qualifications (e.g. PMI, retirement provision certificate, FPC, QPA) ideal but not essential Excellent numeric and communications skills This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/75280188
