Technical Information Officer / Asset Management Analyst / Social Housing Sutton, Surrey Full Time Permanent £26,206 to £29,552 Our client manages council housing in Sutton. They aim to bring investment and improvements to homes across the borough. They are responsible for the day-to-day management of housing services to around 6,000 council tenants and 1,500 leaseholders providing an excellent landlord service to their customers. They are currently seeking a Technical Information Officer to join their head office in Sutton, Surrey. The main purpose of this role is to deal with the collection, maintenance and utilisation of stock data in order to ensure the design and delivery of investment programmes to meet the needs of residents and to guide investment decisions. Within this role your main responsibilities will include ensuring the completeness, accuracy and integrity of stock related data within and across systems used by asset management, reporting and analysing that data to enable informed investment decisions to be made; producing reports and statistical analysis including illustration of decent homes compliance, SAP ratings, 30 year and other investment repair cost forecasts and assisting the manager in producing reports on performance of assets, highlighting poor performing assets for intervention and potential disposal. You will also be expected to keep records updated within data systems as major works projects go forward; respond to one off requests for information and analysis from colleagues and manage and administer the selection process for stock condition surveys, day to day management of external or in house stock condition surveyors and survey projects and uploading results and validating data. The successful candidate will have worked within a similar role previously and will have knowledge of the housing sector, especially Asset Management along with a basic understanding of construction. You will be computer literate enabling you to be confident when managing spreadsheets, databases and analyzing complex data and you will have the ability to identify key information in a dataset, conveying it clearly, accurately and convincingly through speech and / or in writing. Highly organised, you will be capable of planning, prioritising and scheduling activities and resources and you will have an assertive, proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical and people issues.
