Do you have experience working with children or vulnerable people in any setting, whether paid or voluntary?

If you are a degree holder, or due to graduate this summer and looking for a role where you can really make a difference, this could be the role for you. This large primary school in Lewisham, South East London is keen to appoint a confident and patient Behaviour Mentor. Ideally a psychology graduate or someone with extensive practical experience in a similar role.

Behaviour Mentor- The Person
This position is perfect for a resilient and patient person who is passionate about supporting vulnerable children. You need excellent communication skills and should be aiming to build meaningful relationships with hard to reach students. The role will require extensive liaison with staff, parents and external professionals.

Behaviour Mentor- The Role
You will be required to provide 1:1 support for students who have behavioural, social and emotional difficulties. Your duties will involve liaising with students, teachers, senior leadership, parents and external professionals. You are responsible for ensuring that the students' personal well-being and academic progress are ongoing and they are achieving their full potential.
