We are looking for a Learning and Development Champion to work within our Harris & Hoole Brand.

The Learning and Development Champion role supports the delivery of our annual people development objectives & plans for Harris & Hoole.

The Harris & Hoole (HH) business was acquired by Caffe Nero, joining the Group in August 2016. The brand encompasses 37 shops, located in Tesco stores & on the High Street which in the next 3 years, we will further develop & expand. This role is brand dedicated but with a strong link to the Nero L&D Team to ensure that (HH) succeeds in its people agenda with a strong focus on L&D.

Responsibilities

Being a key face from the people team to our shop teams, living the culture.

Knowing all the Shop Managers and as many of the teams as possible.

Love and understand all elements of delivering amazing coffee and customer service in the brand.

Working closely with the Operations, Head Office and Nero teams to ensure excellent support and cooperation.

Delivering training and workshops at all levels from inductions onwards.

Supporting the growth journey of our people through Personal Growth Journeys.

Helping people to play to their strengths and be their best self.

Developing and maintaining online learning.Monitoring and managing engaging content, ensuring learning plans are in place as required.

Working on projects to strive for continuous improvement in our people programmes.All elements of the learning cycle from learning needs analysis through to evaluation.

Completing ad hoc projects as required e.g. systems changes, food/beverage launches, new shop openings.

Presenting at Area Meetings and following all necessary communication channels.

Skills

An amazing track record of growing your people and yourself.

A background in Operations at Manager Level

Working learning and Development experience with knowledge of the learning and development cycle

Experience of creating online content

Great organisation skills and ability to work independently
