The Grand Hotel in Eastbourne are recruiting for an enthusiastic Laundry Supervisor to join our busy Housekeeping team. When you join us:

Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, you will be supervising a team of five people in our in-house Laundry based within the Housekeeping department.
On a daily basis you will be sorting, washing and ironing the sheets, towels and table linen and ensuring the team keep to our five star standards
You will be responsible for organising the machines, the chemicals and the store cupboards
You will also be responsible for maintaining the chef white stock and outgoing and incoming dry cleaning

You will be working full time, five days over seven. Working times are normally 7am-3.30pm or 8am-4.30pm

What we need from you:

Previous experience in a cleaning/laundry environment required
Good verbal and written English
High standard of personal hygiene
Good attention to detail
Physically fit as some lifting is required
