The Healthcare Consultant will be part of the Siemens Healthineers Transformation and Advisory team who provide a diverse portfolio of consultancy services to our partner organisations. They will support the Head of Transformation and Advisory Services (T&A) in developing the GB&I portfolio and to help grow the T&A business in line with agreed targets. The Healthcare Consultant will develop relationships with customer organisations and, under minimal supervision, to identify, develop and deliver Transformation and Advisory projects which demonstrate sustainable improvement to our customer's clinical operational and financial outcomes. They will also promote the role of Transformation and Advisory Services internally as a key means of developing partnerships and "climbing the customer ladder". What are my responsibilities? - Supporting the design of our Transformation and Advisory Services portfolio and assisting withthe strategic continuous development. Supporting the positioning of the portfolio within the market - Identification, acquisition and implementation of Transformation and Advisory Services projects. - Providing mentoring and/or project management function for Transformation and Advisory Servicesprojects, as required - Project-related personnel management and development e.g. a clinical expert seconded to a project or inclusion of team members from HQ - Being the key point of contact with a customer and developing a long term sustainable partnership - Representing Transformation and Advisory Servicesboth externally and internally - Management & appropriate escalation of risks and opportunities for Transformation and Advisory Servicesprojects - Responsibility for the progress of the Transformation and Advisory Services projects and guaranteeing a high level of customer satisfaction - Maintaining a productive partnership with the headquarter Transformation and Advisory Servicesteam includingundertaking training on the wider portfolio - Promote the Transformation and Advisory Services portfolio externallyand withininternal divisionsto help develop the Transformation and Advisory Services business - Availability to travel extensively (daily) within GB&I and occasionally (monthly) within WEA to support global projects or for training and education - Responsible for the detailed analysis of customer information and to present this information in a relevant and meaningful way for our customers - Maintaining aworking knowledge of radiology informatics and to apply this to the clinical context of a project - Report to Head of Transformation and Advisory Services in GB&I What do I need to qualify for the role? - Degree in medicine, health economics, economic sciences or an equivalent academic education - Detailed understanding and/orexperience of Healthcare delivery, to include processes and economics - Extensive project and practical experience in healthcare and/or consulting - Advanced influencing and interpersonal skills - Ability to focus on detail with demonstrable analytical skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with problem solving capability - Excellent organisational and presentation skills - Assertiveness, tenacity, and a self-starter.
