Our client, a global health & beauty group is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to be responsible for defining and developing a customer-led marketing strategy and supporting tactical tools for a new pan-European brand. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy, activities and tactics (online and offline) to evolve the brand and offer to members and ensure it is in line with/leading competitors. You will be the guardian of all marketing related matters and expected to drive initiates managing local and central stakeholders across various seniority levels. This will involve managing projects throughout their whole lifecycle fostering excellence in execution and ensuring they are delivered within time, budget and specification, ensuring a customer focused, consistent and efficient approach in brand strategy, marketing and communication delivering optimum business outcomes. You will be responsible for developing and delivering B2B and B2C strategies and tactics centrally and for leading/supporting countries. Skills & Experience Required: Graduate calibre, preferably in business/ management, marketing, brand management, communications or related field. Marketing qualifications are required (e.g. CIM or equivalent degree/experience). Excellent communication and influencing skills that can be applied in different cultural situations/countries. Entrepreneurial mind-set, flexibility and ability to embrace and lead change. Line management experience and first leadership skills are a must. Collaborative approach whilst holding people accountable. Fluent in verbal and written English. Spoken French, Spanish or Italian would be an advantage Creativity and attention to detail. Excellent project management skills, including planning, organising and managing different external agencies. Strategic and operational marketing skills. Strong analytical skills. Competent in MS office. Confident and credible presentation skills. Enthusiastic and conscientious approach to work, professional demeanour, “can do attitude”. Ability to be a self-starter, innovative spirit and a strong team player. 5 years in marketing/ brand management roles. Must demonstrate first leadership experience, profound expertise in strategy development as well as operational/tactical planning and execution. Global / International brand marketing experience would be desirable. Pharmaceutical wholesale or retail, healthcare services and retail marketing experience would be desirable.
