My client is a well-established, high end retailer, who have traditionally marketed their products on- line and in catalogue. They have made the strategic move to the high street and have launched this by homing their brand in John Lewis department stores.

This move has been received very well and with the plan moving fast, the first John Lewis store concession is being launched.

Therefore, we are looking for a very motivated, driven manager to help the brand launch. The progression for this role is open ended. At the moment, you will be responsible for one other member of staff but moving forward you will need to develop the team within the budgets set.

This role needs someone who can demonstrate the ability to:
* Independently own and drive concession through achieving profit targets by maximising sales and minimising costs.
* Consistently deliver company expectations on Customer Experience, Product and Operations
* Ensure all concession retail and visual merchandising standards reflect the brand personality, whilst adhering to John Lewis' guidelines

Your main duties will be:
Consider the concession profitability by:
* Reviewing the profit and loss
* Tracking and monitoring sales
* Minimising mark downs
* Controlling stock loss and adhering to loss prevention procedures
* Attending host store meetings

Customer Experience:
* Acting as a company ambassador to make sure everyone is treated well and help is always on hand
* Promoting awareness of the brand
* Being able to make suggestions to sell product
* Acknowledge every customer
* Observe and give feedback to customer s#
* Close sales

Product:
* Supporting the Visual merchandising team to ensure the 'look' of the concession is within the brand
* Deal with commercial reporting
* Communicate best seller and make sure they are promoted correctly
* Meet al retail standards
* Action stock loss plans
* Manage full stocktakes and ensure your concession is restocked by dealing with warehouse reports

People:
* Ensure you and your staff reflect the brands values and conduct at all times
* Create good working relationships with John Lewis staff
* Build and maintain a strong team
* Manage all communication between John Lewis, head office and the stores

This role is a really great step for someone currently in a supervisor retail position looking for their first step in to management. You can only apply for this role if you can start on the 5th September 201 and you have no holiday booked in September due to training.
