Sourcing Manager - IT, Retail CIO

Group Sourcing support the bank through setting policy, strategy and enabling the bank in all sourcing and supply chain activity. As part of this area IT Sourcing are responsible for the end to end management of all third party IT expenditure across the Group, including identifying new suppliers and supply markets - very different from those the Group would usually engage with - consequently introducing new opportunities and innovations.
We have a great opportunity for an experienced IT Sourcing Manager to support our Retail division. You'll be responsible for contract negotiations for both incumbent and new suppliers and the commercial activity that sits alongside this. We'll need you to conduct market reviews to inform the sourcing strategy, and work directly with our supplier management teams to implement governance and formally handover the contract, as well as drive the future roadmap with key suppliers.
You'll be aligned to and responsible for two of our Retail CIO systems areas (may include Products, Mortgages, Community Bank, Telephony, Wealth, Self Service), requiring you to work with all levels of stakeholders within IT and the business. So, it's essential that you have proven skills in building relationships and engaging with all levels of stakeholders. You'll also be leading the sourcing of project based work, giving you a great opportunity to work with varying sizes of projects and different businesses to deliver the Group's Transformation agenda.
You'll need strong business and commercial skills, and if you have experience working within financial services this is advantageous. Your demonstrable commercial skills will be advantageous in supporting the delivery of our cost reduction targets aligned to the delivery of the Group's strategic initiatives and operating plan.
