Hospital Medical Device Trainer - Point of Care Testing This important position results from phenomenal sales growth and is needed to provide a consistently high level of support and training to a rapidly growing customer base. The main focus of the role is to train hospital customers in the use of a range of near patient testing equipment / devices such as blood gas, blood glucose, haematology and transcutaneous monitors, provide support and deal with queries as well as planning implementation projects for new installations. You will work alongside the sales team, service engineers and in house co-ordinators to ensure high levels of customer service and subsequent business growth. The company is looking for candidates able to work with lots of different individuals and projects, someone who is flexible, adaptable and great with people. You will need to have a good knowledge of NHS hospitals and have a passion for teaching and training. This could be from working as a nurse or ODP in A&E, ITU, Theatres or similar. Experience as a trainer would be a distinct advantage either in a clinical setting or as a nurse advisor or application specialist in another medical device company. Based from home most of your time will be on your discrete territory but you will need to be able to travel further afield, staying away from home to support other areas on occasions as required.
