HVAC Technician (Days and Nights) Ref: MM 38943 Salary: £32,411 basic salary Location: Gatwick Permanent position closing date: ASAP A plumber/ HVAC engineer is required in to work for a large prestigious client. This position is being offered by a large and well-known FTSE250 FM Outsourcing business. You will be assisting the Contract Manager and you will form part of the 8 man shift team and be responsible for carrying out plumbing/ HVAC maintenance works to specific buildings and terminal buildings. Position requirements - Assist Contract Manager in organisation, management and co-ordination of on-site services to ensure service is maintained to the highest standard in all circumstances. - Able to identify inner workings of HVAC, applied energy efficiencies and heat recovery systems. - Ability to carry out minor surveys and inspections. - Coherent report writing is essential to the role. - Achieve contract SLA in all reactive / planned work orders across all service lines for the contract site where they are based. - To understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time Candidate requirements Previous experience within a commercial building containing M&E services essential. - Evidential building services skills to include commercial, HVAC, plumbing maintenance and reactive repairs to hot and cold water systems, calorifiers and generation, point of use water heaters, booster sets, tanks, drainage and sanitary ware and associated fitments. - Knowledge and experience in carrying out PPM, fault diagnostics and rectification on AHU's, FCU's, booster sets, pumps, extract fans, door curtain heaters, motors, calorifiers and associated controls. - ACOPS Control of Legionella L8 training or willingness to undertake. - Knowledge of Dart Valley washroom products would be beneficial, although full training will be provided. - Associated knowledge and skills of carpentry, tiling, domestic repairs would be beneficial to the role. - IOSH Passport certified in Health and Safety, although full training will be provided. - Excellent communication skills both written and spoken. - Able to meet the physical requirements of the role; e.g.: working at height, working rotating shifts. - Flexible attitude to work is desired. - Clean driving licence is essential to the role - CSCS / IPAF / PASMA certificate or willing to undertake training If you feel you match our client's criteria then please apply now to
