Salary: Up to GBP50,000

Our client is an international charity who are currently seeking a passionate Database Manager to join them at their head office located in Central London. As part of their digital transformation this role will be vital in the management of the databases, staff and identifying ways of improvement for the use of data across the charity.

Your duties as the Database Manager will include the following responsibilities:

You will play an important part in ensuring that the databases are run efficiently meet the required standards.
To lead and develop the data management strategy and ensure the supporter database can continue to support all aspects of the supporter relationship.
You will have a dynamic approach in establishing and improving data quality and use across the organisation.
You will also lead the way to improving the use of reporting and data quality to assist the organisation in achieving their goals.
To line manage the Database Section within the Supporter Relations Team, and to integrate and manage regular working with external service providers
You will also lead in database projects such as systems improvements.
Works with key stakeholders in the development of new database functions to ensure the CRM database meets the evolving business requirements.
You will be able to manage relationships with senior stakeholders and business departments such as Fundraising, IT and Marketing.

To be successful in the role you will need the following experience:

We are looking for someone with a degree/other qualification in IT, database management or similar.
Proven experience of working a similar role in a charity or memberships environment.
You will have the experience of working with database technologies such as CRM Dynamics, Raisers Edge, CARE or similar.
You will also have a good working knowledge of either of the following database tools SQL, SSRS, Power BI, Qlikview, Tableau.
You will also need to show experience of managing or mentoring a team.
Excellent project coordination and management skills; the ability to initiate, plan, manage, deliver and review projects
You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work and communicate with a number of stakeholders.
You will also be providing a high level of customer service to the users and colleagues in the organisation.
