We are seeking a Head chef for this lovely independent restaurant that has been going under the current ownership for 10 years The venue consists of a number of bedrooms in out houses, private dining and meeting area, 50 seater restaurant and 60 seater garden area, it is well respected in the locality Requirements of the position: - Menu Design and development - Service to the restaurant across breakfast, lunch and dinner - Occasional events for exclusive hire and provision to corporate bookings on a day delegate basis - Kitchen management, cleanliness and HACCP - Management of 4 chefs and keen to mentor and develop a young sous chef Desirable attributes: - From a fresh food quality restaurant operation - Trained to NVQ level 1 & 2 - Some experience in managing banquets - Ambitious and keen to bring ideas to improve the customer experience - Own transport required due to location Perks and benefits: - Complete autonomy on suppliers - Be part of a family business with no further bureaucracy behind the scenes - Weekends off can be achieved on a rotational basis throughout the team - Negotiable bonus structure If you are interested to apply, please submit a current CV and we will be in touch to discuss further Don't keep a good thing to yourself We grow our business through referrals, so please don't keep us to yourself.
