Service Delivery Manager - Croydon £52,000 - £65,000 excellent pension, flexible working etc We have an exciting opportunity for an Service Delivery Manager to join one of our major clients based in London. As a company they have one of the largest IT estates in the world and their systems handle over a million applications each year. They are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager to manage and lead the applications capability within their Technical Service Support Team. Responsibilities: - Lead and manage service teams and their workloads across the assigned portfolios - Promote continual service improvement to all team members and relevant stakeholders - Act as an escalation point for service related matters - negotiating and managing conflict as necessary with suppliers, stakeholders and customers - Manage day to day operations across assigned portfolios through operational service monitoring, alert management, daily health checks etc - Deliver against specified work plans, service targets and release schedules - Ensure that risks and issues are identified, logged, reported, managed and escalated as appropriate etc - Ensure close calibration with Service Management and Service Operations Requirements: - Strong service management experience and the ability to manage medium to large supplier contracts - Strong proven ability of increasing in house capabilities and reducing reliance on outsourced service providers - Good knowledge of different software languages, and an understanding of how application stacks sit together - Strong service management experience and the ability to manage supplier contracts - Experience in managing software development support teams - Experience of operating in an Agile/Scrum environment is desirable If you feel you have the relevant skills and experience for the role please apply by following the link provided or contact Jonny Mills at Experis on
