I am working on behalf of an innovative educational social enterprise who is hoping to appoint an ambitious & driven Development Manager focusing on New Business. You will be required to increase funding through engaging with corporates that will enable the organisation to deliver change to children in communities that need it most.Key responsibilities:-Acquiring new relationships and therefore funding through corporate sponsorship and support-Securing sponsorship for the charity's education products and events-Working on the fundraising and marketing communications eg social media and blogging platforms-Cultivate strategies and approaches to grow sponsorship with corporates-Growing and developing new relationships into long-standing and ongoing partnerships-Dealing with a promotional budget to deal with marketing collateral to increase sponsorship and brand awarenessTo be considered you must have the following skills & experience:-Have an entrepreneurial approach to fundraising-Have exceptional presentational and negotiating skills-Experience in developing or applying individual giving schemes-Significant experience of securing sponsorship from new business corporate partnerships and managing these relationships-Experience of branding and promotion, as well as knowledge of data capture strategies-Broad understanding of corporate social responsibility agendas and initiatives-Knowledge of the education sector or literature would be highly desirable
