Job Purpose and Scope:

Lendlease's vision is to create the best places; reporting to the Head of Marketing and working closely with the Development Directors on our major Urban regeneration projects and Head of Retail, the Senior Marketing Manager role will provide a strong level of leadership in creating place marketing strategies to support this vision.

The role will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing and communications strategies to reach a broad range of audiences across multiple channels in the communities where we operate.

On new schemes and bids, the role will champion Lendlease's unique approach to developing a Placebook - a document which creates and combines the vision for the scheme with the fundamental pillars for Place and Brand Marketing, plus a communications framework.

For existing schemes, the role will be required to act as a key member in engaging local organisations key to the success of a scheme such as local council communication teams, joint venture partners or key strategic partners. The role will be responsible for the development of the compelling campaigns required to attract and engage key audiences such as target retailers, new residents to the area, or key customer groups.

Key projects the role will support:

Elephant Park is one of the company's most significant projects globally. The project has gained real momentum over the past 3 years and it is breathing life into an important area in Zone 1 London. The GBP2.3bn regeneration project will deliver 3,000 new homes, over 50 new shops and restaurants, a brand new park and significant investment in local jobs, transport improvements, urban nature and green initiatives, as well as community facilities. With a number of key milestones such as the launch of the retail vision and subsequent retail marketing campaign plus the first phase of the new park opening, this role will manage the profile of Elephant Park within the context of Elephant & Castle's wider transformation.

International Quarter London is creating a major new business district for London on the gateway to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. With 4 million square feet of office, retail and residential the scheme is creating a place where ultimately 25,000 people will work, visit and live daily. With the first residents in situ and the first office tenants moving in this autumn, the place is rapidly moving from a vision to a reality and the development of campaigns to ensure awareness of the transformation will be key to securing subsequent office tenants.

Essential Criteria:

• The Ideal candidate will be proficient in both B2B and B2C marketing disciplines, with approximately 7+ years' experience as a Marketing Manager with line management responsibilities for that amount of time.
• Confident in the following marketing disciplines; creative brief writing, understanding market research, campaign planning, setting and measurement of marketing KPI's, understanding digital KPI's
• Delivering and evaluating integrated marketing campaigns.
• Proven track record of managing a marketing budget of circa GBP1M. Must have had previous experience of directly managing an external marketing agency with a budget responsibility in excess of GBP200,000, and conducting reviews with agencies.
• Experience of working on a product or brand strategy or launch, not necessarily leading, but with demonstrable understanding of the process and having played a role in delivering the outputs.
