* Our client is a growing, technology driven, foreign exchange (FX) and international payments company that is committed to helping businesses save money on their cross-border FX transactions. Based in a great location in London, our client has seen steady and consistent year-on-year revenue and headcount growth. In line with current expansion plans, they are now looking to hire in their Account Management team to manage high levels of client activity.

What is the role?

* This person play an important role in supporting the Account Management team by managing inbound leads and delivering a first-rate client service to prospective and existing customers. This is not a new business sales role, it is purely focused on handling new and existing customers who are calling our client and discussing foreign exchange and international payment requirements with them.

Who is this for?

* The Client Account Executive will be a recent university graduate with some professional experience either obtained on a placement year / work experience, or, someone who is currently in employment and starting out in their career but is looking to work in a Front Office role in Financial Services.

Responsibilities

* Manage warm inbound leads; outline our clients offering by demonstrating their added value, obtain relevant information; book a second follow up call or face-to-face meeting.

* Work closely with the Account Management team to ensure that clients initiate their transactional relationship as agreed.

* Multi-channel lead generation, use different mediums to identify new business opportunities including using marketing collateral, social media and online tools.

* Proactively seek to obtain referrals and warm leads from clients that can be turned into profitable relationships.

* Assist in the client on-boarding process including obtaining relevant documentation for Compliance purposes.

Requirements

* Experience in B2B or B2C sales, either on the phone or face-to-face, would be a definite advantage.

* Experience in customer service and delivering a first-rate experience to customers would be a definite advantage.

* Very good communication skills both on the phone and face-to-face, you are persuasive and can influence people effectively.

* Genuinely interested in wanting to a career in foreign exchange and international payments role; you will have clear reasoning as to why you want to do this.

* It would be an advantage if you understand how foreign exchange and international payments work, but this is not essential - hands-on training will be provided.

* Fluency in a second language would be a nice thing to have given that our client has a global business reach, but this is not essential.

Remuneration Package

In this role, the successful person will be entitled to the following:

* Base Salary: GBP25,000

* Commission Structure: % of total trading client revenue, Y1 OTE: GBP35,000 - GBP40,000
