We are looking for a communications professional to join our Group External Communications team.

The role will comprise of two main functions:

* The first, is using social media and web analytics data to deliver insights on how to optimise our content and adjust our strategy, along with regular reporting of our progress to deliver a world class corporate digital presence.

* The second, is using that insight to effectively manage the day-to-day posting to the Group's social media channels, using a test and learn approach for continuous improvement.

This role would suit someone with an eye for detail, comfortable interrogating data from social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube), Brandwatch & Sprinklr and Google Analytics and spotting the opportunities within.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Produce monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports on content/campaign performance and web & social engagement
  • Manage Group social media channels day-to-day: writing and publishing the social posts which link to pre-written content
  • Manage a web and social content calendar
  • Advise the team on opportunities for content and channel optimisation
  • Act as a first point of call for internal queries on the Group website and social media channels


Qualifications and Skills

You have an analytical and creative mind with sound digital and social communications knowledge, and a passion for getting the most online engagement possible. You are highly organised, a good listener and self-starter, with the interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of teams across the world.

Essential
* At least 2 years of experience from working in social media, communications or marketing
* Able to interpret data from online analytics
  • Experience managing social channels and writing social posts
  • Understanding of key social and digital trends and best-practice
  • Keen understanding of what makes online communications effective and engaging
  • Good all-round communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English
  • Ability to form successful working relationships with colleagues
  • Flexibility and willingness to deal with new subjects
  • Ability to challenge stakeholders
* Strong organisational skills and ability to work with multiple contributors at various levels

Advantageous
* The successful candidate will ideally have financial or professional services experience
* Hands-on experience using Google Analytics and social media monitoring and publishing tools (Brandwatch & Sprinklr)
* Hands-on experience of using a website content management system (Wordpress) and testing tools such as Visual Website Optimiser
Experience working at a multi-national, multi-segment company would be advantageous
