Evolve Selection are currently recruiting for an exciting new opportunity with a dynamic and supportive Healthcare organisation. Our client has an extensive product range within the Ophthalmology market. This exciting role will be working as a Key Account Manager across the South-East area, incorporating Kent, Sussex, Surrey, and South-East London. This role is key to the promotion within the company Ophthalmology portfolio, working in a defined shared geographical territory. The KAM is responsible for maximising sales and contributing to the profit of the products within this territory by achieving agreed sales & contribution targets. Essential Requirements: Ophthalmology experience highly desired. Successful track record as a Hospital Specialist / Secondary Care Representative. Ability to embrace and implement the concept of key account management including the management of appropriate financial pathways to ensure product acceptance at all levels. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of negotiation skills. Highly motivated with positive attitude. The ability to work independently and demonstrate pro-activity. The ability to recognise potential issues and identify relevant solutions which add value and increase potential revenue generation. Thorough knowledge of the ABPI code of practice and other appropriate guidelines. Demonstrable competence of computer and IT skills. Role Responsibilities: Achieve or exceed agreed budgeted sales of promoted brands and manage territory budget to maximise return on investment. To propose and direct local and national account plans and establish successful relationships with major customers and monitor customer satisfaction. Identify priorities and produce strategic business plan for territory. Develop and implement key account management plan for each priority hospital. Negotiate positive outcomes with appropriate customers regarding budget issues and discount initiatives where appropriate. Develop and maintain positive relationships with all key stakeholders. Contact and influence key stakeholders on the formulary/commissioning adoption pathway. To ensure adherence to industry-specific codes of practice or conduct, advertising codes, regulatory directives and guidelines. Role Specific Competencies: IT literate with strong analytical skills. Able to influence NHS staff at the highest levels. Flexible "can do" attitude needed to thrive in a fast-growing company. Self-accountability/motivation.
