This leading boutique Private Equity Firm has a fantastic reputation externally and prides itself on its internal work life balance. They are looking to recruit a Fund Accountant for its PE Funds. As they outsource much of the work to external administrators the role is focuses more on supervising the administration process, freeing up more time to provide more commercial investment support.

Reporting into the Institutional Funds Finance Manager the main responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with the Portfolio team to produce six monthly valuations packs of investee companies for review and approval at the internal LBEP Valuation Committee meeting
• Liaising with the Portfolio team and lawyers with regards to new investments and realisations
• Maintaining the funds' IRR models (actual and forecast)
• Creating and updating fund income models ensuring that they agree with the legal agreements
• Liaising with the CFO or FD of underlying portfolio companies to ensure alignment of income models on a regular basis
• Responsible for cash flow forecasting and accordingly the supervision of drawdowns and repayments from and to investors by administrators
• Working in partnership with the Analysis team to produce portfolio management information for the Portfolio team
• Review quarterly and annual fund accounts for a number of subsidiary companies received from the administrators
• Review quarterly investor reports, working closely with the investor relations team
• Liaising with the auditors regarding the audit of the annual accounts
• Preparation of KPI and fund performance schedules for inclusion in the Partnership board packs and the AGM
• Maintain regulatory data including the preparation of FCA returns for the funds
• Monthly stock reconciliations
• Preparation and submission of Statistical returns and surveys for the British Venture Capital Association (trade body)

As the ideal candidate you will be newly to recently qualified ACA / ACCA or equivalent with excellent academics. You will ideally have experience working with FS / Investment client. You will have excellent communication skills coupled with a real desire to succeed.
