Sodexo are seeking motivated & enthusiastic KIOSK CHEF to join our Match Day Hospitality AMEX stadium, home to Brighton & Hove Albion FC. Job Description Working in one of our 28 match day retail kiosks, your responsibility as Kiosk Chef will be to cook and deliver food of a high standard to customers and fans, ensuring healthy and safety, food hygiene standards and company policies are adhered to at all times. (This would be an ideal position for a Commis Chef or someone studying towards Catering & Hospitality, Culinary or Cookery) • Ensure all food produced is of the highest standard as per the standard operating procedures • Responsible for cooking all kiosk food on match days (burgers, pizza, hot dogs etc) in a timely manner • Ensure all equipment used is regularly cleaned, polished and stored correctly • Ensure food stocks are available throughout the kiosk and any shortages are relayed to the Team Leader • Ensure that all Sodexo Food Safety and Health & Safety policies are being adhered to • Ensure that any fan queries/feedback/complaints are dealt with effectively and efficiently, noted and fed back to the Team Leader or Floor Manager • Manage stock control and wastage of food within kiosk Requirements • 16 years old+ • Previous experience in a kitchen desirable • Previous experience in a catering role is desirable • Applicants will be asked to complete mandatory online training prior to interview invitation • Job-specific training provided - Level 3 Food Saftey • Must be available to work all home match days Candidate Profile • Confident and outgoing • Team player • Ability to work under pressure • Uniform, personal appearance and hygiene kept to a high standard • Communication and listening skills are essential • Customer service focused • Complies with company procedures and policies • Good knowledge of beverages and retail food items Rates of Pay/Engagement o GBP8.00 - GBP11,00 per hour depending on experience + holiday pay o Bonus scheme incentives - Increased rates of pay for consecutive games worked!! o Annual staff awards party Additional Info Recruitment days for the 2017/18 season will be held in July 2017 All applicants must provide proof of right-to-work as well as proof of National Insurance All roles offered are on a zero hour/casual contract basis.
