Mid-Senior Medical Copywriter Opportunity - Digital Agency - Berkshire - GBP40K-GBP50K depending on experience

Our client are a leading digital marketing and advertising agency based in Berkshire. They are looking for an excellent copywriter with creative intelligence, technical expertise, healthcare experience and the ability to make everything better.

You would need to show excellent core writing skills, have a proactive nature, project ownership, an open mind, attention to detail and a passion for new technologies.

They would want you to think creatively, write words, be proactive, be meticulous, challenge briefs, inspire others, own projects and communicate simply.

You'll become part of a strong creative team that includes creative/medical copywriters, designers and developers.

Key Responsibilities

- Working with copy, accounts, design and development teams you will write creative, clear, concise, compelling, accurate and grammatically correct copy
- Take ownership and be lead writer for a range of medical/marketing/advertising projects
- Advertising campaigns, disease/public awareness campaigns, ipad apps, banner ads, face book ads, marketing emails, self-led presentations, case studies, leaflets, booklets, websites, infographics, communication tools, corporate brand guidelines, videos, scripts, press releases, social media, webinar materials, market research, SMS texting services, discovery/competitor analyses, etc
- Explain complex concepts and data, in simple ways to a range of audiences
- Ensure content adheres to in-house or client-specific style
- Guarantee all copy adheres to ABPI and local codes of practice/guidelines
- Be involved in creative brainstorms and develop concepts

Experience needed

- An undergraduate degree, preferably science (life sciences)
- Minimum 1 year as a medical writer/copywriter
- Proven experience writing excellent creative/medical copy
- Advanced word and power point skills
- Good knowledge of the strict regulations in pharmaceuticals, with experience working to the ABPI and other codes of practice
- Proven experience (or a real enthusiasm for) writing for digital
- Experience working as part of a creative team
