Centre 404 is a friendly, local and thriving charity with an excellent reputation for providing high quality support and services to people with learning disabilities and their families in North London.
We are looking for a reliable and committed Waking Night worker to support adults with a learning disability living in supported accommodation. You will be supporting people with a diverse range of needs and all support will be based on core principles of enabling service users to be valued as individuals and do as much as possible for themselves; maximising their independence and control over their lives.
As a Waking Night worker you will provide support to service users overnight ensuring their safety, health and wellbeing. You will assist with personal care, health and safety checks, essential cleaning tasks and leading on dealing with emergencies.
We are looking for people with a positive, can-do attitude. Experience of autism and positive behaviour support would be a strong advantage. Good communication and team spirit are essential, as well as friendly and enthusiastic attitude, a willingness to learn and develop new skills, and the ability to work positively as part of a team.
Waking Night workers will need to be available to attend training days, induction and meetings during the day, and work occasional day shifts, particularly during the first month of the induction period.
Centre 404 is committed to staff development and supervision and we will provide a detailed induction and on-going training and support to learn everything needed to be a great support worker.

Salary: £16,931.20 (pro rata based on a 37 hour week)
Working Hours: Part Time, 30 hours per week (waking nights, this includes week days, weekends and bank holidays); a day shift may also be expected once a week
