About Family for Every Child

Family has set out to be a different type of international development organisation. Structured as a network, we are governed by national civil society organisations drawn from across the globe.

Our aim is to demonstrate that international development can be achieved in a sustainable and effective way if grassroots organisations, who have the understanding of what will work in their context, the local challenges and needs of children and families in their communities, in their countries, in their culture, are in the driving seat and given equal access to decision-making nationally, regionally, inter-continentally and internationally.

Together, we have a stronger voice to advocate for change for the children in their countries, we learn from each other, we cooperate in projects together and with external partners, and we carry out context-based research that helps us advance our cause for children.

Job Purpose:

To provide comprehensive financial management and administration support across the Alliance. As part of the Alliance Support team, this role will work closely with Family's financial outsourcer, JS2, to support all aspects of financial management.

The Finance & Admin Officer will also work with the Supporter Care team, supporting income processing and undertaking income reconciliations. They will also work with the HR and Operations area to provide general administrative support across the Alliance. Being office-based, this role will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the office and act as a key point of contact with the office provider. They will also work closely with the IT support provider, and resource IT equipment and oversee the smooth running of the Google Apps platform.
