On behalf of our client we seek to recruit an experienced Credit Risk Analyst to work on a portfolio of financial institutions (FI's), large Corporates and sovereign states.
To analyse new and renewal credit applications for global corporate, (but mainly) financial institution and sovereign borrowers .

To prepare financial spreadsheets of the borrower's financial position in respect of balance sheet; profit and loss account and cash flow statement and to write the accompanying report , which analyses the credit risk of the proposal and considers all relevant risks.

To consider all information as may be appropriate to analyse the credit risk including from rating agencies; other financial institutions (brokers and banks); and general market sources;

To know how to use credit ratings agencies (Fitch, Moody's,) credit information tools; as well as Dun & Bradstreet; knowledge of how to use Bloomberg terminal for credit analytical purposes

To review a designated portfolio of accounts on an ongoing basis and to prepare timely updates on all aspects of those accounts which may affect the credit risk.

To structure credit proposals and formulate and present credit applications with a view to improving the quality of the presentation and the soundness of the credit risk.

To monitor and manage the flow of such credit proposals

To co-ordinate with the Credit - Loans Administration area to ensure correct interpretation, administration and monitoring of the credit portfolio.

To assist in the preparation of periodic reports for Senior Management

To carry out special studies of industries, financial institutions and market practices and any other duties as directed and as may be required from time to time by the Management
