Application Support Analyst ( Front Office )

We have an exciting opportunity for an Application Support Analyst to join our London team, as part of global Flow Markets technology team

You will be providing "Eyes on glass" first line triage for incidents, business requests and providing day to day support to the EMEA business; communicating, escalating and following up as appropriate to ensure that problems get solved.

You will also be required to improve our service to the business by helping to drive automation and performing technical systems analysis.

We're looking for strong problem solvers, excellent communicators with strong technical skills. Ideally you will have prior experience applying this skill set in a Front Office environment.

Specific technical skills you will have include some of the following;

  • SQL/stored procedures
  • Unix and Shell scripting
  • Support of applications running under Java/J2EE/C++
  • Supporting applications running in a cloud environment
  • FIX/MQ/Message queue
  • Experience with vendor E/OMS platforms e.g. Fidessa
  • Understanding of networking and working with different file transfer methods
  • Experience with alerting and monitoring tools
